Collaborative Leadership to Manage Virtual School in Island and Border Areas

The border region serves as a gateway that can easily be influenced by internal and external factors, making it geopolitically significant area. This is often referred to frontier or gray area, affected the influence of neighboring countries. research aims explore implementation collaborative leadership in managing virtual schools Indonesia's island areas. study employs descriptive qualitative design involves stakeholders such schools, universities, teachers, students, parents, education offices regions. findings revealed need for all levels Indonesia, including elementary, middle, higher, universities. All stakeholders, regional offices, must involved this process. identified several fundamental issues implementing archipelagic regions, long distances travel time between islands, inadequate educational facilities due limited funding, shortage qualified teachers. One reasons behind number teachers teaching profession less attractive communities insufficient economic income.
